The Little Duke has encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and learn to interact with the friendliest, happiest, most welcoming people I have ever encountered. My love for performing has grown as I have grown since I started at the school’

The Little Duke is a second home, I started when I was 4 and I’m still here at 18. I keep coming back because there is such a welcoming atmosphere and I’ve made many close friends. The Little Duke also gave me the opportunity to take part in auditions. I can’t even begin to describe the fun I’ve had during productions. It has created countless happy warm memories for me.

‘Ever since I joined The Little Duke I have been a more confident person and find things like speaking in front of a group of people, or leading a team on a project much easier and I know that this is completely from the confidence the little duke has given me. A combination of the warm and welcoming students who have become my closest friends. The encouraging friendly and dedicated teachers really bought me out of my skin

‘I’ve been at the Little Duke theatre for 11 years and in that time it has helped me grow in confidence and become more comfortable with myself. Instead of wasting my Saturdays, I have fun aswell as working at what I love to do. Being there has taught me to focus on my goals. Most importantly, I have had fun over the years and I’ve made some great friends. I have a second family at the Little Duke and it is a major part of my life and who I am’.

The Little Duke is like a second family to me. I’ve been involved for 10 years and it has always been such a great place to go to, full of kind, energetic people. It’s been a big part of my life since I was 7 years old and my teachers here have helped to inspire me and to become the person I am today.’

‘I joined the LittleDuke 2 years ago and even though everyone seemed to be like a big happy family alreadt they just welcomed me with open arms as we do to everybody who comes along

I’ve been at the Duke for around 8 years, I’ve learned to – ‘Dance like no one is watching & to sing like no one’s listening’ It’s been and is to this day a huge part of this day for the better.’
